As some of you may have noticed, the Madagascars have not arrived yet. I just received some bad news yesterday. The freight company has "lost" the shipment of cocoa. How do you lose that much cocoa? I have no idea, but they did it. I am starting the paperwork for credit for that shipment and getting more cocoa here ASAP. At this point, I will not even try to guess when it will make it. I hope within a week or two, but I recall saying that in the past. Please be patient, it will get here.

Our shipment of certified organic cocoa butter has arrived. This is a fine organic cocoa butter. Of course it is food grade and even used by a local chocolate maker in their fine Alchemical creations. Our Products page is all updated.
Also, we received confirmation that the Organic Madagascar cocoa beans have been shipped and are scheduled for delivery on Wednesday.

Lots of little things are starting to come together.
- We have secured an Certified Organic source of cocoa butter. It should be available next week.
- The Certified Organic Madagascar cocoa beans are due to arrive next week also.
- The CrankandStein cocoa mill is in production and available. You can see new photos of it in action in the newly updated Cracking and Winnowing section
- I am testing out a prototype conch/refiner soon. Lets hope it works as that is our last hurdle for homemade Artisan Chocolate!
- I am slowing putting together a Recipe section. There will be both chocolate recipes and recipes with fresh cocoa nibs and homemade unsweetened chocolate.
- The shopping cart is almost online. I know everyone has been waiting on that. Myself included.
Happy chocolate making everyone
