And now for something a little lighter.
Why don’t you have a how to guide on making chocolate?
?? I do. It’s on the front page and right here; How to make chocolate
Can you recommend any chocolate making books?
No. I don’t know of any.
Are you ever going to write a book on chocolate making?
Maybe. I’ve thought about it for years. The more I learn and know, the more I learn what I don’t know and that there is more to know and learn.
Can I make chocolate without a melanger.
No. At least with the caveat that you can’t make smooth chocolate without a Melanger.
Do you make chocolate just for yourself?
No.
Do you eat all the chocolate you make for your testing?
No. I save it up and make holiday truffles once a year, often for a fund raising event for a local school. And of course for family and friends.
Can I be your apprentice?
Not in person. I’m not set up for that kind of thing. But if you are reading and learning from Chocolate Alchemy, then you already are.
Can I visit Chocolate Alchemy?
Sure. Assuming you mean the location and not the site. I love to have visitors. But drop ins don’t work well. Appointments are good.
Do you offer chocolate making classes?
No. Not structured ones. What I offer is troves of information on the site, and questions answered readily if you have them.
