On 7/9/20 we are trying out a new shipping system that hopefully you won’t notice at all except you won’t have to be careful not to pick options that won’t work, like fitting a large polycarbonate mold into a small flat rate envelope. It will exclude that now if all goes right. The same goes for trying to ship a Melanger with shipping included to the 48 contiguous USA states when you are trying to ship it to Canada. In that case you won’t see any shipping options because it isn’t allowed.
That said, should you not see a shipping rate you expect to see and have used in the past, please email us and let us know. Test will be going on 8-12 PST and you may see some odd things but hopefully nothing broken. Please be patient and choose as best you can and/or write us.
In other shipping related news, through August we will only be shipping 3-4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Friday with Wednesday being an as need basis depending on order volume. Basically summer orders drop and we are shooting for efficient staffing, especially during the continued COVID shut downs. Thanks for understanding. So when we day 2-3 days to ship, those are working days so you should probably exclude Wednesday and Thursday, but write us (support at chocolate alchemy dot com) if you would like us to try and get it out sooner. No promises but we will if we can.
Unrelated, I plan to have a new and second Wild Bolivia bean up (from Itenez) tomorrow and you really going to want to check it out. I love the Tranquillidad but this is even better in my opinion. It is the flavor of what I fell in love with about wild harvest beans some….oh my goodness….12 years ago. Chocolate, layers and layers of flavor, and the desire to just keep eating it. It officially goes onto my top 10 beans ever list.
